Bolan Castings Limited (PSX: BCL) has resumed operations after over 3 weeks (23 days), the company informed the main bourse on Monday.
“Reference is made to our earlier disclosure dated August 23, 2024 regarding the suspension of production activities of the Company. The management of the Company has now decided to resume its production activities, effective Wednesday, September 18, 2024,” the stock filing stated.
It bears mentioning that BCL first halted production on August 26 due to declining sales and delays in payments from its main customer.
The company manufactures and sells casting for tractors and automotive parts. The company is a subsidiary of Millat Tractors Limited.
At the time of filing, BCL’s scrip at the bourse was Rs. 88, up 1.96 percent or Rs. 1.69 with 58,731 shares on Monday.
