The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has officially canceled the layout plan of the Glade Vista Residence, a 63-kanal apartment project on Murree Road Expressway, Zone-IV Islamabad.
The project, sponsored by Glade Vista Builders (Pvt) Limited, failed to meet the required terms and conditions set forth by the authority.
The layout plan was initially approved under clause 26 of the Revised Modalities & Procedures (2020) for Vertical Apartments. However, Glade Vista Builders received multiple notices from CDA, dated February 7, March 6, March 27, and May 2, 2024, urging the company to comply with the approved terms. Despite repeated warnings and a show-cause notice demanding compliance within 15 days, the builders did not fulfill the necessary conditions.
CDA highlighted unauthorized and illegal marketing, along with unapproved sale-purchase activities, as key violations. The agency issued a final warning, stating that failure to respond would lead to ex-parte proceedings and potential cancellation of the layout plan. With no satisfactory response from Glade Vista Builders, the CDA proceeded with the cancellation as of May 2, 2024.
In a public notice, the CDA has advised the general public to refrain from investing in the project until all legal formalities are completed. The authority also directed the owners to immediately stop any ongoing illegal work on the site until the project complies fully with CDA regulations.
