FBR Seeks Public Feedback on Its Tax Reforms Under World Bank Project

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has asked the general public to submit suggestions and their concerns on tax reform initiatives under the World Bank (WB) funded project i.e. Pakistan Raises Revenue. According to FBR, the Pakistan Raises Revenue Project aims to increase Pakistan’s tax base and equip FBR with state-of-the-art technology to run its revenue operations. FBR aims to become a technology-oriented organization of the federal government through the improvement of software applications and hardware infrastructure. In this regard, the Reforms and Modernization Wing of FBR is ready to receive suggestions and concerns regarding the reform initiatives under PRRP.
