FFC Acquires Voting Shares in Agritech Limited

Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (PSX: FFC) has acquired voting shares in Agritech Limited (PSX: AGL), the company informed the main bourse on Wednesday. “Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) has acquired on 15 October 2024, 106,014,632 voting shares of Agritech Limited at the rate of Rs. 37.42 per share,” the stock filing stated. On account of this acquisition, FFC’s total shareholding in Agritech Limited is 117,934,632 shares which represents 27.77 percent of the total issued voting shares of the company. FFC’s previous holding in the company was 2.81 percent or 11,920,000 shares. The principal activity of the Company is manufacturing, purchasing, and marketing of fertilizers and chemicals, including investment in other fertilizers, chemicals, cement, energy generation, food processing, and banking operations. The company’s scrip at the bourse closed at Rs. 254.5, down 0.24 percent or Rs. 0.61 with over 1.13 million shares on Wednesday.
