Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb held a meeting with the Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan at the Finance Division today.
Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan provided an overview of the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme which promotes entrepreneurship among youth by providing business loans on simple terms and with less markup through Commercial, Islamic, and SME banks.
Aurangzeb appreciated the program and recognized it as a valuable scheme for supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs). He expressed support for the initiative, highlighting its role in stimulating entrepreneurial activity and contributing to economic growth.
The discussion covered the current structure of the scheme, including its three operational tiers, and explored the potential benefits and logistics of introducing additional tiers.
