The price of gold in Pakistan posted its first increase in December after yesterday’s fall.
According to data issued by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold (24 carats) went up by Rs. 700 per tola to Rs. 275,200, while the price of 10 grams went up by Rs. 600 to Rs. 235,940.
On Monday, bullion went down by Rs. 1,700 per tola before rising again today.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $4 to $2,646, up 0.16 percent compared to Monday.
