Gold Price in Pakistan Smashes Yet Another Record Amid Global Rally 
The price of gold in Pakistan breached the record high mark for the third consecutive day on Friday.  According to data issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold (24 carats) climbed by Rs. 3,000 per tola to Rs. 280,900, while the price of 10 grams was up by Rs. 2,572 to Rs. 240,826.        The price of gold surged by Rs. 2,200 per tola on Wednesday to hit the record high of Rs. 277,200 per tola before going by Rs. 700 per tola to Rs. 277,900 on Thursday, another record high.   In the international market, gold raced past the $2,700 mark for the first time in history with spot gold up 0.7 percent to $2,711.75 per ounce by 0933 GMT, while US gold futures were also up 0.7 percent to $2,726.90.
