Gold prices in Pakistan held steady on Friday, with 24-karat gold selling at Rs. 438,862 per tola, unchanged from the previous session.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per 10-gram also remained flat at Rs. 376,253.
The rate for 22-karat gold was quoted at Rs. 344,911 per 10-gram.
Silver prices were similarly stable in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver selling at Rs. 5,642 per tola and Rs. 4,837 per 10-gram.
Globally, spot gold hovered around $4,154 an ounce, rising by $5.50 or 0.13 percent from the previous session as investor confidence grew over the likelihood of a U.S. Federal Reserve interest rate cut in December.
