The price of gold in Pakistan declined slightly on Monday to close at Rs. 283,400 per tola.
According to data issued by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold (24 carats) fell by Rs. 900 per tola to Rs. 283,400, while the price of 10 grams was down by Rs. 771 to Rs. 242,970.
The price of 10-gram 22-karat gold also went down to Rs. 222,722 from Rs. 223,430, the Association reported. It is pertinent to note here that the price of the precious metal surged to an all-time high of Rs. 285,400 on October 23.
The price of per tola and 10-gram silver remained unchanged at Rs.3,350 and Rs.2,872.08 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $9 to $2,739 from $2,748, the Association said.
