Gold Rate in Pakistan Falls Again as International Prices Decline
The price of gold in Pakistan fell for the second straight day on Wednesday as international prices fell.  According to data issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold (24 carats) fell by Rs. 1,000 per tola to Rs. 282,200, while the price of 10 grams was down by Rs. 857 to Rs. 241,941.   After going by up Rs. 700 per tola on Monday the price fell by Rs. 500 per tola yesterday. The price of the precious metal had hit an all-time high of Rs. 287,900 per tola last month.   According to APGJSA, the rate of gold in the international market was at $2,727 per ounce (with a premium of $20), down by $10 during the day.
