The price of gold in Pakistan fell slightly for the second straight day this week on Tuesday.
According to data issued by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold (24 carats) was down by Rs. 600 per tola to Rs. 274,900, while the price of 10 grams fell by Rs. 515 to Rs. 235,682 whereas the price of 10-gram 22 karat gold went down to Rs. 216,042 from Rs. 216,514.
Yesterday the price of gold fell by Rs. 500 per tola. The slight losses in recent days means gold is down around Rs. 2,100 per tola from the record high of Rs. 277,000 registered last week.
The price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained constant at Rs. 3,050 and Rs.2 ,614.88 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $6 to $2,647 from $2,653, the Association reported.
