The price of gold in Pakistan fell for the third time this week on Thursday as it went down by Rs. 1,100 per tola.
According to data issued by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold (24 carats) fell by Rs. 1,100 per tola to Rs. 274,400, while the price of 10 grams was down by Rs. 943 to Rs. 235,254.
The price of gold rose by Rs. 600 per tola on Wednesday after falling on the opening two days of the week, however, the decline was marginal on both days. Gold is down by Rs. 2,600 per tola from the record high of Rs. 277,000 registered last week.
The price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained constant at Rs.3,050 and Rs.2,614.88 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $11 to $2,642 from $2,653, the Association reported.
