After two huge falls earlier in the week, the price gold in Pakistan rose slightly on Friday.
According to data issued by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold (24 carats) rose by Rs. 1,300 per tola to Rs. 267,700, while the price of 10 grams was up by Rs. 1,115 to Rs. 229,510.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $13 to $2,565 from $2,552, the Association said.
It is pertinent to mention here that the price of the precious metal fell by Rs. 5,500 per tola on Thursday, this was the second big decrease in the week after Tuesday’s decline of Rs. 7,000 per tola.
Gold is currently trading much below the all-time high level of Rs. 287,900 recorded late last month.
