The price of gold in Pakistan posted a significant increase on Friday to close above the Rs. 273,000 per tola mark.
According to data issued by the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of gold (24 carats) rose by Rs. 2,700 to Rs. 273,900 while the price of 24-karat gold stood at Rs. 234,825 per 10-gram, up Rs. 2,315.
Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold stood at Rs. 215,256 per 10-gram.
It is pertinent to mention here that the price of gold fell by Rs. 500 per tola yesterday, while the decline on Wednesday stood at Rs. 3,000 per tola.
The price of gold is currently just below the all-time high of Rs. 277,000 per tola registered towards the end of the last month.
