Govt to Appoint Rashid Mahmood Langrial As New FBR Chairman

The federal government has decided to appoint Secretary Power Rashid Mahmood Langrial as the new Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), high-level sources confirmed ProPakistani. Sources told ProPakistani that the Establishment division has proposed Rashid Mehmood Langrial’s name for the position of Chairman of FBR. The incumbent chairman, FBR Amjad Zubair Tiwana, has applied for early retirement due to some personal reasons. It is pertinent to note that Rashid Mehmood Langrial has been serving as secretary of power for almost the last two years. The government had considered his name a year ago for the Chairman FBR position, but later on, it appointed Amjad Zubair Tiwana.
