Mari Petroleum Changes Names to Mari Energies Limited 

Mari Petroleum Company Limited (PSX: MARI) Wednesday announced that the name of the company has been changed from Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) to Mari Energies Limited (MEL) with effect from January 07, 2025.  A Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name has been issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan in this respect, a copy of which is enclosed herewith, the company said in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).  The Company shall continue to display its former name alongside its new name as required under Section 13(2) of the Companies Act, 2017, the notice said.  This change of name shall have no effect on the principal line of business of the Company. Further, the new website of the company is www.marienergies.com.pk (will be operational from January 09, 2025), it added.
