No Amnesty Scheme Being Considered for Smuggled Vehicles: FBR

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has rebutted rumors that an amnesty scheme is being considered for regularizing smuggled vehicles. “FBR categorically denies rumors circulating on social media regarding a purported upcoming amnesty scheme for regularizing the smuggled vehicles,” said a statement posted on official handle of FBR on X. The statement further said that no such scheme is under consideration of the federal government at this time. FBR also advised the public not to believe any such misinformation circulating in social media or on any other unverified sources.
