In coordination with the Petroleum Division, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has urged law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to ensure the smooth transportation of tank lorries carrying petroleum products to retail outlets.
“OGRA, in coordination with the Petroleum Division, has requested law enforcement agencies through Chief Secretaries and local administrations to ensure the unhindered transportation of tank lorries carrying petroleum products to the retail outlets,” said an OGRA spokesperson in a statement.
To address any challenges faced by tank lorries during transportation, a dedicated communication channel has been established between Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and District Administrations/law enforcement agencies.
This initiative aims to ensure a steady and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products across the country.
