PTCL Appoints Azfar Manzoor as Chairman

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has appointed Azfar Manzoor as the new Chairman of the company. “We have to inform you that Capt. (Retd) Muhammad Mahmood, Chairman has/have ceased to be the Chairman of the Company w.e.f. 2024-08-22 and Mr. Azfar Manzoor has/have been appointed as chairman,” the company said in a stocking filing on Thursday. PTCL has also reconstituted the board which now consists of the following:   The new PTCL chairman presently also holds the position of Additional Secretary (Incharge) Ministry of IT & Telecom. It is pertinent to mention that Capt Mahmood (retd) was elected as the PTCL chairman in April this year, but he has since been replaced by Azfar as the Chairman.
