The Right-Sizing Committee of the federal government has initiated the first phase of its institutional reforms by seeking detailed briefings from five key ministries.
All five ministries have been instructed to submit their performance reports by today (July 12, 2024), after confirmation from their respective ministers and secretaries. Ministers or secretaries may attend their ministry’s detailed briefings if they choose.
These include the Ministry of IT and Telecom, the Ministry of Industries and Production, the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, the Ministry of SAFRON (States and Frontier Regions), and the Ministry of National Health Services.
