Toyota Indus Motor Company to Suspend Production Again

Indus Motor Company Limited (PSX: INDU) will temporarily suspend operations from 16 December to 31 December 31, 2024, the carmaker informed the main bourse on Friday. “We would like to inform you that the company has scheduled its annual maintenance activities for the plant involved in the manufacturing and assembly of vehicles,” the company said in a stock filing. Based on the above scheduled activities, the company has decided to temporarily suspend operations at its production facility from 16th December 2024 to 31st December 2024, it added. The company is responsible for assembling, progressive manufacturing and marketing of Toyota vehicles. The Company also acts as the sole distributor of Toyota and Daihatsu vehicles in Pakistan and has a license for assembling, progressive manufacturing and marketing of these vehicles in Pakistan.
